COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF SERVICES
We offer a full range of services to address your shoulder needs. From non-surgical treatments to advanced surgical interventions, our dedicated team provides comprehensive care tailored to your specific condition, helping you regain shoulder functionality and improve your quality of life.
Here are some of the types of surgeries we perform:
SHOULDER ARTHROSCOPY
Arthroscopy allows our surgeons to diagnose and treat various shoulder conditions, including shoulder impingement, labral tears, and shoulder instability. This technique involves inserting a small camera into the shoulder joint, enabling the surgeon to evaluate the damage and perform necessary repairs with minimal disruption to the surrounding tissues.
TOTAL SHOULDER REPLACEMENT
In cases of severe arthritis or joint degeneration, a total shoulder replacement may be recommended. Our skilled surgeons replace the damaged joint surfaces with artificial components, reducing pain and restoring function to the shoulder joint.
REVERSE TOTAL SHOULDER REPLACEMENT
This specialized procedure is typically performed for patients with complex shoulder conditions, such as irreparable rotator cuff tears or chronic shoulder instability. The reverse total shoulder replacement involves reversing the ball-and-socket mechanism of the shoulder joint, allowing other muscles to compensate for the damaged rotator cuff and improving overall shoulder function.
ROTATOR CUFF REPAIR
Rotator cuff tears are frequently encountered in athletes who engage in sports requiring repetitive arm movements, like swimming, baseball, or weightlifting. Our orthopedic surgeons specialize in arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, a minimally invasive procedure that involves reattaching the torn tendon to its original position. This approach allows for faster recovery, minimal scarring, and optimal long-term outcomes.
SHOULDER FRACTURE REPAIR
Our orthopedic surgeons are proficient in treating various types of shoulder fractures, including clavicle fractures, proximal humerus fractures, and shoulder socket fractures. They employ advanced techniques and implants to stabilize the fracture, promoting proper healing and restoring function to the shoulder.
SLAP REPAIR
SLAP stands for Superior Labrum Anterior to Posterior. This procedure is performed to repair a tear in the superior labrum, often caused by repetitive shoulder motions or traumatic injuries. Our surgeons meticulously reattach the torn labrum, helping to alleviate pain and improve shoulder stability.
SHOULDER INSTABILITY REPAIR
Athletes and weekend warriors involved in contact sports or those with a history of recurrent shoulder dislocations may require shoulder instability repair. Our surgeons employ advanced techniques, such as arthroscopic stabilization procedures or open surgical methods, to restore stability to the shoulder joint and reduce the risk of future dislocations.
BANKART REPAIR
Bankart repair is a surgical technique used to treat shoulder instability and recurrent dislocations. During the procedure, our surgeons repair and tighten the torn or stretched ligaments that contribute to shoulder instability, restoring normal joint function and reducing the risk of future dislocations.
AC JOINT RECONSTRUCTION
The AC (acromioclavicular) joint is commonly injured in sports such as football, hockey, or biking. Severe AC joint injuries, such as high-grade sprains or dislocations, may require surgical intervention. Our experienced surgeons perform AC joint reconstruction to restore joint alignment and stability, allowing athletes to regain full shoulder function.
