Dr. Ammar specializes in spine care, focusing on complex conditions, deformities, tumors, and minimally invasive surgery. He pioneered percutaneous techniques for degenerative scoliosis and performs thoracic discectomy for spinal cord decompression using a minimally invasive lateral approach. Certified in cervical and lumbar arthroplasty, Dr. Ammar has published in The Journal of Neurosurgery and Neurosurgery. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and other professional organizations. Dr. Ammar is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal outcomes with advanced spinal techniques.

He also has a strong interest in general neurosurgery, especially peripheral nerve surgery.
