Kaitlyn Helmey, AT

BIOGRAPHY

Kaitlyn Helmey MS, ATC, LAT is the Head Athletic Trainer for Effingham County High School in Springfield, GA.

She attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2021.  She also received her Masters of Science in Athletic Training from Georgia College and State University in May of 2023.  While in the Athletic Training Program, she acquired 2 years of clinical experience in the high school setting. She also has participated in clinical rotation with Georgia College’s Basketball teams, Georgia Military College’s Football team, and Savannah College of Art and Design’s Lacrosse and Soccer Teams.

Kaitlyn is a native of Americus, GA and moved to Guyton, GA after completing her education and getting married in 2023.
