BIOGRAPHY

Brian Mizeski is a highly experienced and nationally certified athletic trainer with over a decade of expertise in sports medicine, injury prevention, and performance optimization. He currently serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for Tormenta FC, where he leads all medical operations under Optim Health Systems.

Throughout his career, Brian has worked across collegiate, professional, and community settings, including Georgia Southern University Athletics and ESPN Wide World of Sports. His strengths lie in collaborative care, emergency preparedness, and advancing athlete health through education and research. Brian holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Kean University. He is certified in dry needling, blood flow restriction, emergency response, and multiple manual therapy techniques.

Dedicated to leadership and service, Brian has chaired the Southeastern Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA) Marketing & Communications Committee and served on Georgia Southern’s Staff Council. His work is driven by a passion for excellence, community engagement, and elevating the profession of athletic training.
