BIOGRAPHY
Krisha Rushing MS, LAT, ATC, CEAS holds a Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Toledo in Ohio. Krisha currently serves as the Athletic Trainer for the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office in Statesboro, GA. In addition, she works as an Independent Medical Observer for the Sun Belt Conference.
Krisha has extensive experience working with tactical populations, having served as an Athletic Trainer at Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield from 2018-2020 and again from 2023-2026. During her time at Fort Stewart, she assisted in the development of Physical Readiness Training protocols for injured soldiers, instructed functional lifting classes, and created an education program for combat medics. Additionally, she collaborated with a large team of health care professionals to ensure a well-rounded and holistic approach to patient care.
From 2020-2023, Krisha worked as an Athletic Trainer at the high school level, providing injury prevention, evaluation, and return-to-play management for student-athletes across multiple sports. She also completed an internship with the football program at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2017.
When she is not working, Krisha enjoys spending time with her husband and their children.
