Optim Medical Center-Tattnall is pleased to announce the addition of Joshua Wickstrom, MD, to our primary care team. Starting July 22, Dr. Wickstrom will be holding clinics in Glennville, Metter, and Reidsville, and will be accepting new patients.
Dr. Wickstrom provides comprehensive family medicine services, including sick visits, chronic disease management, and wellness visits, for patients of all ages—from two years old to senior adults. He has a special interest in providing care to senior adults and is dedicated to fostering strong, honest relationships with his patients to ensure they receive the best care possible.
Growing up not far from Reidsville, GA, Dr. Wickstrom is excited to be coming home. His background and experience have equipped him to address the unique healthcare needs of smaller communities. During medical school, Dr. Wickstrom completed a rural medicine training course, further enhancing his ability to serve rural populations.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Wickstrom enjoys a variety of activities. He is an avid sports enthusiast, who enjoys reading, playing chess, and partaking in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
