BIOGRAPHY
Lauren Wert is the licensed and certified Athletic Trainer for Calvary Day School in Savannah, GA. Prior to Calvary Day, Lauren was the head athletic trainer for both Montgomery County High School in Mt. Vernon, GA and Robert Toombs Christian Academy in Lyons, GA. Lauren has been employed with Optim since August 2021.
Lauren graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training in May 2021. During her time at GSU, she gained clinical experience with GSU Football, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, as well as the Recreation Activity Center (RAC), Southern Wellness & Rehab, and Savannah Christian Preparatory School.
Lauren is originally from Columbus, GA. Lauren obtained her BOC Certification and GA state License the summer of 2021 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
