A bit about me. It’s always nice to know a little about someone before seeking their medical advice. I’m from Screven County. I attended the county public school system and graduated from Screven County High School. Afterwards, I did my undergraduate at Presbyterian College then went to Mercer School of Medicine where I earned a Master of Public Health degree and Doctorate of Medicine degree. A medical residency is where doctors receive their supervised education and earn their speciality title. I wanted a well rounded training suitable for a rural area and found a good match at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their duel combined Internal Medicine with Family Medicine program provided opportunities for great breadth and depth and allowed me to sit for the Internal Medicine and Family Medicine boards.
