BIOGRAPHY
Cody Duffy began his first season at Brewton-Parker College for the 2021-22 athletic season. Previously, Duffy has spent time serving at Alderson Broaddus (WV) and Thomas Stone High School. While at Alderson Broaddus, Duffy served as an athletic training intern. At Thomas Stone, Duffy served by working as an outreach athletic trainer for proflex physical therapy.
The Pensacola, FL native attended Lees-McRae College (NC). While working on his athletic training certificate, Duffy also spent time working in a local CrossFit gym in Pensacola.
He has a passion for sports and competed in team sports from an early age. In 2002, he began competing in inline speed skating and followed by competing in road cycling in 2007. Before attending college, Duffy competed at the national level for inline speed skating.
After an accident while mountain biking, Duffy found a determination to become stronger and more passionate about competition through sports. His experience with the event has greatly impacted his outlook on athletics and the student-athletes he serves through athletic training. He finds the work in athletic training to be rewarding by encouraging positive attitudes even in the midst of troubles.
